Facilitating Multi-Species Dementia Care in the Time of Covid-19

Following a network-wide webinar that was held in October 2020, we have developed a four-part educational film on facilitating multi-species dementia care in the context of the global pandemic. In the film, leading experts in veterinary medicine, animal assisted interventions and zoonotic infection discuss a range of central issues relating to human-animal interaction in dementia in time of Covid-19. Multi-Species Dementia: Key Concepts for Research, Policy & Practice (Edited Book Proposal)

We are currently developing proposals for an edited collection, that would explore how multi-species approaches may advance research, policy and practice approaches within the field of dementia studies. Further details of this project are contained within our call for papers. If you have an idea for a paper that could potentially fit within one or more of the four themes identified, please do get in touch.

Multi-Species Dementia: Contours, Contributions & Controversies (Working Paper)

The working paper is visible to all members of the network to view and comment on via Fidus Writer. We have prepared a detailed Fidus Writer User Guide for network members who are new to using this collaborative online writing platform (see link below).
