    Dementia: Towards A Multi-Species Approach

    The ‘animal turn’ across the humanities & social sciences is leading to non-human animals being increasingly incorporated within disciplines previously considered to the exclusive domains of humans; yet dementia studies has been somewhat slow (and arguably somewhat resistant) to explore what Bryant (1979) called the zoological connection. In this post, we outline five areas of research within dementia studies that would benefit from a multi-species approach.
